Getting started
Complete these steps in order. You do not need to edit theme code.
01 / Installation
Add Sartelle to Shopify
- 1Open your theme library
In Shopify Admin go to Online Store → Themes. Keep your current live theme published while you prepare Sartelle.
- 2Add the theme
Upload the provided theme package or install it through the Shopify Theme Store when available.
- 3Work on the unpublished copy
Open Customize, select the correct market and language, and save changes frequently.
- 4Preview before publishing
Use the preview link to validate navigation, products, cart, policy pages and mobile behavior.
03 / Theme settings
Set the visual system before individual sections
Page width, zero-to-wide margins, section spacing, grid gap and global radius.
Reusable colour schemes plus global fallbacks for surfaces, text, accent and sale states.
Primary and display fonts, minimal or editorial headings, body scale and heading scale.
Media ratio, fit, alignment, information order, videos, badges and visible options.
04 / Launch checklist
Complete these checks before publishing
- Add your logo, favicon and brand colour schemes.
- Create desktop and mobile navigation menus.
- Configure Search & Discovery filters and recommendations.
- Assign product, collection, brand and size-chart metafields.
- Review product templates and remove placeholder content.
- Add shipping, returns, privacy and contact information.
- Test cart, checkout, accounts, markets and local pickup.
- Check the storefront on real desktop and mobile devices.
