Choose the right product template
Sartelle includes Default, High variants, Preorder, Story and Quickshop templates. Duplicate a template when a product family needs a different block order rather than changing every product.
- Default for the main catalogue.
- High variants for large size or option ranges.
- Preorder for products tagged _preorder.
- Story for editorial launches.
- Quickshop controls the reusable quick-purchase experience.
02 / Media
Desktop and mobile galleries
Choose grid, featured-first grid, stacked, carousel or thumbnails independently for desktop and mobile. Shopify images, native video, external video and 3D models remain supported.
- Image fit
- Natural, contain or cover depending on product photography.
- Video
- Autoplay videos are muted, inline and can pause outside the viewport.
- Grouped media
- Optionally group media by selected colour.
- Zoom
- Enable the centred media viewer when source images support close inspection.
03 / Options
Require a deliberate variant choice
Variant pickers can use dropdowns, buttons, swatches or variant images. Size or every option can start unselected; the add-to-cart action then shows an accessible validation message instead of silently choosing the first size.
- Connect a configurable size chart to Size or Taglia options.
- Use product siblings for colours stored as separate products.
- Shopify Plus Combined Listings remain supported natively.
- Unavailable options remain distinguishable from available selections.
04 / Availability
Pickup, preorder and back in stock
Pickup availability is shown only when Shopify returns pickup locations for the selected variant. The _preorder tag changes merchandising labels and purchase copy. Back-in-stock registration is an optional, removable customer-form block.

Recommendations and recently viewed
Use Shopify recommendations for related and complementary products. Recently viewed products are stored in the visitor’s browser and can appear below the product page.
- Keep section headings and product counts editable.
- Enable quick shop only when the catalogue benefits from it.
- Test selling plans and accelerated checkout separately.
